About.
I am a Hong Kong-based writer and completed my bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Textile Studies at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2019. After graduating, I worked as a womenswear fashion designer for a local Hong Kong brand for five years. At the same time, I have been a features editor since 2020 for a local digital media outlet, MINDLY.JOURNAL, where I write about art, fashion, and cultural topics, including interviews, archival research projects, exhibition reviews, and runway critiques.
Recently, I have focused on studying the relationship between art and fashion. I have started an editorial project aimed at creating cultural collaboration and communication for local designers and artists through editorial shoots. I view this as a long-term cultural program that can provide new insights to the public while also profiling both international designers and artists.
Over the past few years, I have interviewed and profiled some of the most recognizable names in the fields of contemporary art, fashion, and design, including Matthew M. Williams, Hiro Yoshikawa, Edward Lam, Adrienn Hód, Nicolas Kerszenbaum, and Trevor Yeung. I have also collaborated with local fashion programs, including FabricX, Fashion Asia, the Fashion Incubation Program (FIP) from the Design Centre, and the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest (YDC) as a writer.
